How we work
Three things we hold to
Cloth comes first
We choose the stretch and weight of the polyester and spandex before we draw a stripe or a floral. The base fabric decides how the piece hangs.
Vents and hems
Side vents and split hems sit where a full turn pulls on the shirt. If a hem rides up during a swing, the cut is wrong.
Tested on grass
We write our descriptions after walking eighteen holes in the shirt. If a button pulls or a cuff binds on the backswing, we fix it.
Picking one in three steps
Read the forecast first
Full sun wants a sleeveless or a light pique. An early tee time wants a layer over it. The weather decides more of the outfit than the mirror does.
Decide how loud it should read
A solid works everywhere from the range to lunch. A print carries the round on its own. Both are on the rack; the difference is who has to live up to whom.
Read the fit note on its page
Where a piece runs slim or generous we write it out. That note is the last thing to check before you open the partner page.

What performance fabric forgives and what it does not
Worth doing
- Wash cold with other synthetics and hang it up; it is usually dry by morning.
- Rinse a shirt the same day it soaked through. Salt left in the knit stiffens it.
- Keep sunscreen off the collar edge where you can; apply first, dress second.
- Fold polos with the collar buttoned so the points keep their line.
Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibres, and the shirt stops wicking exactly when you need it to.
- A hot dryer, which is how a polo comes out a size smaller with a wavy hem.
- An iron face-down on a printed panel. Steam it or iron inside out, low.
- Leaving it balled up damp in the golf bag until the weekend.

Why we sort by the round
Traditional stores group shirts by drop date or shade. We build our racks around the round itself. When you pack for Saturday morning, you care about the wind, the dress code and how loud a pattern you want to wear. Starting with who, job, weather and print gets you to the right piece faster.
Reading a golf shirt before you buy it
Look closely at the collar, the placket and the hem before you choose a golf polo. A floppy collar curls after three holes in the heat. A stiff placket keeps its line when unbuttoned. Side vents let the bottom hem move with your hips instead of pulling tight across your belt. Small details like these keep a shirt sitting right through a long round.
